There But Not There

There but not there was a national event in 2018. It saw silhouettes shaped as soldiers displayed across the UK.

Tarporley was the first location within the UK to display the figures, attracting huge publicity and even the media, including ITV and the BBC, which led to the event gaining air time on national news.

The event started with a parade, led by the vicor of St Helens; Georgina. She was shortly followed by the Royal British Legion, who were followed by the Army Cadets and then other members of the public (including a large presence from the High School).

The parade - in silence - marched from the top of the high street, down to St Helens, where the figures were placed and a short service was held.
