Every year, we partake in the national Poppy Appeal campaign – raising funds through the symbolic Poppy from Flanders Fields

With the money we raise, we support the armed forces community. active military, veterans and their close families can all benefit from our support in many forms

Locally we are known throughout for our Poppy Appeal and the villages Remembrance Sunday parade and service – inclusive of the whole community!
Tarporley Remembrance Parade 2023
Our remembrance parade & service will be back this year
Sunday 12th November – Parade departs 10.25 AM
As always we endeavour to include as many groups and organisations in the community as possible, but if you’d like to be a part of the parade then please contact us!
The service will be held inside St. Helens, at the end of the parade where there will also be a TV screen for any crowd outside to watch along too

Poppy Selling
A major part of what we do as the Royal British Legion as this is the main source of our funraising!
Every donation truly matters and goes to a great cause, helping the armed forces community.
We’ll be back on the streets and in shops in Tarporley this year, including a number of card terminals! Keep an eye out for the local Army Cadets poppy selling on the 2 weekends before Remembrance Sunday too!
